v Victory Church is partnering with their church plant, Victory Iglesia, and an eleven year veteran of inner city Whiz Kids, Eagle Heights Church. They will work together tutoring kids from Mark Twain Elementary. Victory will begin tutoring in the Fall of 08. Here is something Victory has to say about Whiz Kids: "Whiz Kids is a recent addition to Victory's community outreach ministry, where people join together to reach a city, change a nation, and touch the world. We join forces with the vision of Mark Twain Elementary - that every student who attends that school be tutored/mentored through the Whiz Kids program!"

is one of newest sites. They began tutoring in early September with children from one of our original partnering schools, Crooked Oak Elementary. From the very first day, the excitement was uncontainable as tutors and children got to know each other. All were amazed how quickly time flew by on the first day. The site began with 12 students and has already blossomed to nearly 20! Pastor Lawrence Neisent said:
"Our church family has been given the privilege of serving the Lord on such a personal level through Whiz Kids. What a great program that is well-organized and ready to implement. It's easy to talk about making a difference in our world, but Whiz Kids is where we clearly stepped beyond talk. The world won't change by prayer without action because faith without action is dead. Getting involved in people's lives to help them on many levels of life is what will change the world. This is what Whiz Kids is all about”.
