2008 Volunteer Appreciation Banquet

City Care’s Whiz Kids’ Annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet was on Thursday, March 13th, 2008 at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The theme was, “A Night of Legacies.” The Guest speaker was Don Reeverts, Executive Director and Founder of Whiz Kids, and President of Denver Leadership Foundation. The First Lady, Kim Henry, also said a few encouraging words. It was a night full of appreciation, both for the legacies the volunteers have left in each child’s life, and also for the great works God has done through each tutor!
